Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been picked for India’s Champions Trophy squad despite doubts about his fitness.

Injured quick Jasprit Bumrah has been named in India's provisional 15-member squad for next month's Champions Trophy, while spinner Kuldeep Yadav is also set to return after picking up a groin issue in October.

Selectors are optimistic about Jasprit Bumrah's recovery for the ICC tournament despite his back injury, while Mohammed Shami returns to the ODI squad. Shubman Gill has been named vice-captain, and Yashasvi Jaiswal receives his maiden ODI call-up.

India, the two-time Champions Trophy winners, will begin their Group A campaign in Dubai against Bangladesh on February 20.
