During Raw on Monday night, CM Punk and Jey Uso met in the ring ahead of their match for the vacant world heavyweight championship this weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Uso was elevated to the main-event scene earlier this year when he won the Royal Rumble and defeated Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41. His reign lasted just 51 days before he lost the title back to Gunther, and many expected him to be relegated back to the midcard.
