LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. — At least 19 people are dead and several others are injured after a tornado tore through Laurel County, KY, late Friday evening, according to Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear.

Beshear confirmed 17 died in Laurel County and one died in Pulaski County, with ages ranging from 25 to 76 years old. "Please pray for those impacted," he said in a social media post early in the day.
