A person was taken into custody in connection with a shooting at a Southwest Philadelphia laundromat that injured two people Monday morning.

Two men, ages 33 and 41, were injured in a shooting at a Philadelphia laundromat. A person of interest was taken into custody and a weapon was found at the crime scene. Police have not reported a possible motive for the shooting.

According to Philadelphia police, the double shooting happened just before 11:45 a.m. on Monday at the laundromat, which is on the corner of Elmwood Avenue and South 65th Street.

Police say shots were fired inside the E-Laundromat on 65th Street and Elmwood Avenue just before noon Monday. A 41-year-old and 33-year-old sustained gunshot wounds to their legs. Both are in stable condition.
