There are plenty of analysts who have been doubting Sam Darnold, but one fantasy site is claiming that Seattle Seahawks fans should be 'fired up' for their new QB.

Darnold was named to the list for his breakout season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2024. He threw for 4,319 yards, 35 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, a career-best 102.5 passer rating and helped lead the Vikings to a 14-3 record. He was also named to his first Pro Bowl.

The NFL quarterback proposed to his girlfriend, Katie Hoofnagle, in Dana Point, Calif. on July 5, 2025. The couple's family and friends traveled in from all over for the proposal.

One thing that should happen is the development of his connection with top wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. CBS Sports writer Tyler Sullivan listed Smith-Njigba's growth as the biggest reason for optimism.
