Currituck County will show its support for military veterans by displaying green lights at county facilities from Nov. 4 – 11.

Representatives from four area nonprofits were on hand on Oct. 22 as St. Andrews by the Sea in Nags Head presented a check for $15,000 that was raised at its Empty Bowls fundraiser.

Marching Band has made its mark this competition season, earning top honors at the Peanut Festival Battle of the Bands and the Panther Band Classic.
