NEW YORK — After giving up three runs in an eighth-inning implosion against the Padres on Monday night, Yankees reliever Devin Williams insisted that he feels good and that he’s turned a corner from the struggles he had in March and April.

After the Yankees designated him for assignment Tuesday, Carlos Carrasco cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday. That keeps some important starting depth in the organization, even with Carrasco having struggled to a 5.91 ERA in 32 innings.
