A medical emergency caused a crash outside Arrowhead Stadium following Saturday's AFC Divisional Round game. The fire department initially reported that a pedestrian was struck outside the stadium. However, police later clarified that no pedestrian was hit.
Police said a preliminary report indicated a vehicle crashed into another vehicle parked near a group of pedestrians.
A crash in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 just past U.S. 40 Highway caused emergency crews to close the two left lanes of the highway. Emergency responders said the crash involved multiple vehicles. Police are directing traffic coming out of Arrowhead to help control the congestion.
