The Butte County Sheriff’s Office has made two arrests related to the investigation of a murder that occurred in January in Oroville.

Two men from the Eel River valley are set to be arraigned Tuesday for the alleged murder of two men in Butte County.

Detectives arrested two Humboldt County men on homicide charges a few weeks after authorities found two bodies with gunshot wounds inside a burned car along a Northern California rural road.

Two men have been arrested on murder charges after two bodies were found in a burned vehicle in Oroville last month.

The investigation stems from an incident on Jan. 30, when deputies and Cal Fire officials responded to a burned vehicle near Condor and Red Tape Roads.
