A moment when South Korean musician DJ Koo bid farewell to his late wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, at her cremation ceremony in Tokyo was shared on social media by friends of the couple.

Barbie Hsu’s family is arranging her funeral while in Japan, and new reports highlight her husband DJ Koo’s frantic attempts to save her in her final hours.

Hsu died of pneumonia after contracting influenza during a trip to Japan. Friends and colleagues such as Jacky Wu, Lin Chi-ling and Christine Fan expressed their sadness over her death.
