ATLANTA - Those looking to watch the Atlanta Hawks duke it out with the Houston Rockets will have to wait. The National Basketball Association announced that the game scheduled for Saturday afternoon between the two teams at State Farm Arena has been postponed.

Citing severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in Atlanta, the NBA postponed Saturday’s scheduled Rockets-Hawks game. A new date has not been set.

Several sporting events in and around Los Angeles have been called off, as has Saturday’s NBA matchup between Atlanta and Houston.

The National Basketball Association game scheduled for this afternoon between the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena has been postponed. The decision was made in consultation with local officials and to prioritize the safety of the players,
