Los Angeles Rams veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford will lead the way in Monday's Wild Card game against the Minnesota Vikings. Stafford knows what it takes to get the job done in the playoffs.

As he did last year, Matthew Stafford will wrap up the regular season on the sidelines. Sean McVay announced on Wednesday that the Los Angeles Rams will rest Stafford in Sunday’s finale against the Seattle Seahawks, giving him a break before the postseason starts.

J.J. McCarthy, the Vikings' rookie quarterback and No. 10 overall pick in the 2024 draft, remains on the injured reserve list (IR) with a knee injury he suffered during the preseason and will not take part in the playoffs.
