According to NME, fans can expect indie group Ride member Andy Bell to play bass alongside Liam and Noel Gallagher for their 2025 reunion shows. This won’t come as a huge surprise to long-time fans of the band, with Bell having stepped in for Paul 'Guigsy' McGuigan from 1999 to 2009 before joining the spin-off band Beady Eye alongside Liam.

This comes shortly after Oasis was nominated for inclusion in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame’s 2025 class. Gallagher doesn’t seem to care, though, as he tweeted, “RNR hall of fame is for WANKERS.” He also said what he’d do if the band actually got inducted: “Obv go and say it’s the best thing EVER.”

As far as we know, the Oasis reunion is still happening. The Stereogum tips line has yet to receive any juicy gossip about any details surrounding the tour. But “sources close to the upcoming reunion tour” apparently told NME who’d be backing up the Gallaghers onstage this summer,
