A plane crash into the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport temporarily halted all takeoffs and landings. Emergency personnel are on the spot.

Reagan National Airport will remain closed until Friday after a passenger-filled American Airlines place and a military helicopter collided Wednesday night.
