A wildfire burning on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge has prompted expanded evacuations in Klickitat County. The Burdoin fire started at about 2:30 p.m. Friday near Courtney Road and Highway 14 milepost 68, according to county officials. Highway 14 is closed from the east side of Bingen to Lyle.

At least seven people were in critical condition and six others were seriously injured in the incident, which occurred outside a club on Santa Monica Boulevard.

A fire broke out on Saturday at a unit of Iran's Abadan refinery, killing one employee, before being brought under control, the Iranian oil ministry's news agency reported.

TOWN OF SHEBOYGAN – A town of Sheboygan garage fire is under investigation. Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that a 911 call reported the garage fire in the 3500 block of Granite Road at 10:15 p.m. July 18. When deputies arrive on scene, the sheriff’s office said the garage was fully engulfed in fire.

Firefighters are tackling a blaze at the old Foyle College building in Londonderry. The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) said it received the first reports of a fire at 19:31 BST on Saturday. Five NIFRS appliances were sent to the scene, including one aerial unit.
