Snow, rain and icy conditions will spread across the Midwest and Northeast thanks to a storm that drenched northern California.

New Jersey is bracing for another round of snow and ice this weekend. Snowfall totals of 4 to 6 inches are expected in northern New Jersey. Nearly all of the state faces a threat of a dangerous coating of ice. National Weather Service and AccuWeather

A few sprinkles or light rain showers will be possible late Friday night in the south. Widespread precipitation will spread over Greater Cincinnati on Saturday. Temperatures on Saturday will warm into the 50s, except for in the north where highs will range from the mid-30 to mid-40s.

Good Thursday evening to one and all! After strong winds gusting over 50 miles per hour at times today, focus is all in on a snowmaker that looks to arrive headed into the weekend. Tonight, winds will relax as overnight lows fall into the single digits.

For the second time in two days, parts of New Jersey have been placed under winter weather alerts — this time for a Super Bowl weekend storm that could dump up to 4 to 6 inches of snow along with a sloppy mix of snow,

A storm system brought several inches of snow for most of New Hampshire on Thursday, and there is another storm likely to follow this weekend.

Unlike Thursday's storm system, this low pressure presents an opportunity for the region's first true snowstorm since 2022.
