Kirill Marchenko scored with 2:12 left in the third period to snap a 4-4 tie against the Canadiens on a big night for the Blue Jackets' top line.

COLUMBUS -- Kirill Marchenko scored twice, and Sean Monahan had three assists when the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 in a shootout at Nationwide Arena on Tuesday. Adam Fantilli had the deciding goal in the fourth round and Elvis Merzlikins stopped three of four Carolina attempts.

Dmitri Voronkov scored two goals and the Columbus Blue Jackets beat the St. Louis Blues 6-4. Kirill Marchenko, Adam Fantilli, Mathieu Oliver and Mikael Pyyhtia also scored for the Blue Jackets, who are 5-2-1 in their last eight.
