The Dallas Cowboys flew out to Oxnard, California, for the start of training camp on Sunday afternoon, but Micah Parsons was not on the team flight. Don't panic.

The good news for Parsons? Steelers' edge rusher T.J. Watt just signed a three-year, $123 million extension that makes him the highest annually paid non-QB in NFL history at $41 million a year. That contract resets the market for Parsons. The three-time All-Pro will likely see a deal of same or more value.

Parsons, 26, is set to play on the fifth-year option of his rookie deal this upcoming season. The Cowboys and the pass-rusher have made progress in contract negotiations, but it remains unclear when they'll reach an agreement.
