The National Hockey League’s department of player safety has offered the Minnesota Wild winger an in-person hearing after he was tossed out of the club’s 6-0 loss to the Senators at the Canadian Tire Centre.

Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman has been offered an in-person hearing for roughing Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle. The in-person hearing, as opposed to a phone call, offers the NHL the option to hand out a suspension of more than five games.
