The streamer announced this week that the long-anticipated Wednesday season 2 is slated to drop in August. That, of course, is good news for the many fans of the Addams Family riff, which stars Jenna Ortega as the raven-haired daughter of Gomez ( Luis Guzmán) and Morticia ( Catherine Zeta-Jones ).

Netflix confirmed that Wednesday Season 2 will premiere in two parts, with the first debuting on August 6 and the second on September 3. The season premiere is titled "Here We Woe Again," and was written by showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and directed by Tim Burton.

Netflix has released the first trailer (below) for its highly anticipated second season of the goth-horror-comedy hit, which stars Jenna Ortega as the morbidly inclined Wednesday Addams.
