Woad has led the point standings in the LPGA Elite Amateur Pathway since the program was rolled out by the LPGA earlier this season and earned her 18th of the 20 total points she needs to qualify for Tour membership by participating in the Arnold Palmer Cup in early June.
The Amundi Evian Championship, which begins Thursday at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France, has produced its share of drama since Helen Alfredsson of Sweden captured the first tournament in 1994.
