Sgt. Yuri Bukhenik, a key investigator in the Karen Read case​, has been transferred to another Massachusetts State Police role.

The decision to transfer the sergeant comes just weeks after Karen Read was acquitted on all charges connected to the death of her boyfriend, Boston Police officer John O’Keefe.
