The Arizona Diamondbacks have decided not to trade right-handed starting pitcher Zac Gallen as the trade deadline passed on Thursday afternoon. More roster moves are slowly emerging as the Diamondbacks were thought to become major sellers ahead of the trade deadline.

The Boston Red Sox are reportedly poking around the Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitching rotation ahead of Thursday's MLB trade deadline.

All three pitchers are seen as likely candidates to be traded before the deadline. The Diamondbacks have already started selling players approaching free agency. They flipped first baseman Josh Naylor to the Mariners and outfielder Randal Grichuk to the Royals. They will likely trade third baseman Eugenio Suárez as well.
