Fallfish-ing is really good right now and will be all summer long. A native minnow species, the Fallfish, sometimes called “Dace”, lives in most of CT’s stony-bottom rivers and streams. The fallfish builds a pyramid-shaped nest of gravel, up to 18-20 inches in height. So, keep an eye out if walking in a stream during summer low flow months for these eighth wonders of the world.
