Flood waters from the South Llano River hit the Llano River Dam around 4:00 pm on Tuesday. Flow quickly increased from 89 CFS to over 3,000 at 5:40 pm. 🚨South Llano River Update🚨 July 5, 2025 As of this morning, the water has receded; HOWEVER, the river is still moving swiftly, it is murky from flood water drainage, and is still carrying some debris. Undercurrents may still be very strong, and the murkiness makes it difficult to see that debris. The park is open, but we still recommend no water recreation at this time.
