Two orphaned joeys, a kangaroo named Ruth and a wombat named Myrtle, are flourishing under the care of Werribee Open Range Zoo after a heartbreaking start to life. Found by the roadside next to their deceased mothers, these resilient youngsters are receiving round-the-clock care and specialized attention, with plans for their eventual release back into the wild. | Breitbart

Another wombat treated for mange early this morning. We suspect it’s Stu, a wombat treated once last year before he disappeared. Canberra-based wombat rescuer Yolandi Vermaark of Wombat Rescue is on the frontline of fighting mange in wombats.
