Moloch, the ancient deity associated with child sacrifice, was not buried in the myths of the past. Its symbol continues to appear in the present, disguised and normalized in modern culture. The bull, an animal directly related to Moloch, is recurrently used by the elite. We see it in the Wall Street Bull, an icon of global financial power, and in the shows of artists like Beyoncé, where the bull is displayed as a symbol of “empowerment” while millions of viewers consume it without question.
