Summer in Alaska… if the bears don’t get ya, the bugs definitely will. A lot of people don’t realize how much of a bear’s diet is vegetation, epically grass. Sedge grasses and other estuary plants make a considerable protein source for bears in the summer while they wait for the salmon run.
