In this first episode of how to restore a vintage bike, I’m hoping to help those people who might be considering buying an older bike, and I’m hoping to encourage people who have an older bike to take the leap by giving some advice on what bikes make good project bikes. There are honestly so many good bicycles out there to choose from, but the main things I’ve come to look for are chromoly steel frames, extra tore clearance, and little to no rust.
