Quick speed test today. The famous Bodnik Quick Stick 40@28 versus the Flatline Bows Avian 40@28 Both bows are reported to be 60 inches nock to nock, but the quick stick is a little longer than the avian. Both performed very well, but the Avian draws the longer straw outperforming the quick stick by about 5 fps. I used Easton Legacy traditionals at 325 grain, because that's what I shoot with these bows. I don't see a point in choosing a much heavier arrow to comply with a mainstream perception.
