Northport is cleaning up this week after a burst of slow-moving thunderstorms dumped an estimated 5-plus inches of rain in roughly 90 minutes on Monday, June 29. The flood damaged homes and businesses, overwhelmed culverts and sent water pouring through parts of the Leelanau Peninsula village that are not accustomed to flooding. (Video provided by Daniel T.
