Four years ago today Radio Caroline went live on 648 AM with special programmes broadcast from our radio ship Ross Revenge, transmitting from the former BBC World Service site at Orfordness with 1KW of power. This month we have boosted our power with a 4KW transmitter and now cover most of England, across The Netherlands and Belgium and further into Europe. Ultrafunkula house DJs recently filmed a live set on the aft deck of Ross Revenge, which they will be sharing with their following. They asked us to help out as current restrictions mean they can't hold their usual party events and are making a donation towards the maintenance of the ship. Around 20 boats full of young people came out to enjoy the show from the water. The group were fascinated by the history of Radio Caroline and the ship - especially the record library.
