The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints toured the Salt Lake Temple to see firsthand the progress of the renovation project. They were joined by the members of the Presiding Bishopric, who manage the temporal affairs of the Church. Afterward, President @OaksDallinH wrote about the purpose of the house of the Lord, where eternal covenants are made. This tour came the month after President Oaks had a hip replacement surgery on April 15. He said the tour was a welcom
